EUTOPIA – alliance of European Universities

Established in 2019, EUTOPIA is an alliance of ten European universities, and six Global partners committed to developing a new model for integrated higher education institutions through transnational cooperation.

EUTOPIA is an ambitious partnership of ten like-minded universities committed to reinventing higher education.

This alliance includes Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca (Romania), Vrije Universiteit Brussels (Belgium), Ca’Foscari University of Venice (Italy), CY Cergy Paris Université (France), Technische Universität Dresden (Germany), University of Gothenburg (Sweden), University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), NOVA University Lisbon (Portugal), University of Pompeu Fabra (Spain), and University of Warwick (United Kingdom). Together, these pioneering institutions are working to create the European university of the future.

EUTOPIA is dedicated to addressing significant global and democratic challenges in the Anthropocene era. The alliance takes on a leadership role in shaping a sustainable future through shared values aligned with the European Charter of Fundamental Rights.

EUTOPIA Young Leaders Academy

The EUTOPIA Young Leaders Academy is an initiative promoted by the EUTOPIA alliance of European universities. It aims to foster an interdisciplinary research community across various countries, as well as support the exchange between high-potential young researchers and stimulate their professional development.

Selected participants act as ambassadors, contributing to the alliance’s activities and promoting the creation of an integrated research community.
