Online Informative Session – Narrative CVs

Research funding agencies, including the ERC, and recruiters are adopting new CV formats that incorporate narrative elements, either supplementing or substituting the standard CV. Narrative CVs allow candidates to explain career choices, breaks, and contributions to larger projects (or multi-author publications), producing a more comprehensive portrait of their career and professional skills. In this seminar, we will introduce participants to the narrative CV, examine some of the current formats adopted by funders, and analyse the feedback from both reviewers and candidates who have participated in funding calls that have requested narrative CVs.
