LS4FUTURE Training on Employability Skills for Researchers: A Successful Initiative
22/04/2025
LS4FUTURE is thrilled to announce the successful completion of its recent training event, “Employability Skills for Researchers,” held on April 14–15 at NOVA Medical School. Hosted by Chaperone, this two-day in-person workshop provided members of our community with essential tools to navigate both academic and non-academic career paths.
The training featured two focused sessions: the first day concentrated on identifying transferable skills and crafting compelling CVs and cover letters, while the second day was dedicated to job interview preparation, including mock interviews. Participants engaged in interactive activities designed to enhance their self-awareness and confidence in professional settings.
Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many highlighting the practical insights gained and the supportive environment fostered throughout the sessions. The limited spots ensured personalized attention, allowing for meaningful interactions and tailored guidance.
LS4FUTURE extends its gratitude to all participants and Chaperone for their contributions to the event’s success. Stay tuned for future training opportunities aimed at empowering our research community.
