Workshop “Innovate for Impact” – registrations are open
Registrations are now open for our online workshop “Innovate for Impact” to be held on July 4th and organized by the Young Entrepreneurs in Science (YES) program from the Falling Walls Foundation in Germany.

The course is tailored to 25 participants, register here until the 1st of July to secure a place.
As part of our Bioentrepreneurship Training Program, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to harness the collective expertise of our community, gain insights into maximizing the impact of your research, and foster innovation. It is open to all staff and students, from PhD students to PIs, including research technicians and managers. It might be particularly relevant to those in need of writing impact statements or wishing to expand the impact of their research.
Workshop Content:
This digital workshop will consist of two engaging modules designed to maximize the impact of your research:
Module 1: Innovate for Impact
- Learn about the golden circle and the concepts of purpose and impact.
- Reflect on the WHY behind your research work.
- Explore potential areas of impact that your research can contribute to using the SDG framework.
Module 2: Your Research Canvas
- Reflect on the potential of your own research topic or idea.
- Assess this potential by identifying users and stakeholders with the help of the Research Canvas.

The Young Entrepreneurs in Science (YES) program by the Falling Walls Foundation aims to empower young scientists and researchers by fostering entrepreneurial thinking and innovation. Through workshops and training sessions, YES provides the tools and guidance needed to translate scientific research into impactful solutions and entrepreneurial ventures.
